After a busy week with uni work and it being a friends 21st I thought because of my lack of blogging recently I'd post some casual photo's from the week and some outfit posts. There not the most interesting of outfits because a Gala night out tends to be more casual then anything else which I hate. These photos were taken using my Cannon SLR, and from my iPhone using Hipstamatic and Instagram. Anyway enjoy :)

I've been using Tumblr for a while now but I thought I should properly link it to my blog so you's can see it and follow if anyone else uses it. I use it mainly for photo's I like whether they're fashion or photography, and it's a big part of my inspiration.
I also want to say thank you to everyone since I reached 100 followers today! Sorry for the lack of posts recently being back at university has been busier then ever and it's only the third week and it doesn't help that I'm in everyday. I'll hopefully have some of my own work or new outfits to show you soon. So put up with me being quiet for now, I'll be back whenever I can!

After paying £1,655 for my flat at university today I now have no money but I've already decided as soon as I do what I'm going to buy. Firstly I'm going to get the Black Milk Cathedral skirt, I'm not a huge skirt wearer and I haven't bought a skirt for probably a year now but I just love this one. The print is so different and the fit looks so good! I also want the Beetlejuice leggings and Galaxy Purple leggings (also from Black Milk). The Second thing I want to buy is some Underground Creepers, I was after these for Christmas/Birthday but because I have tiny feet (size 3) I couldn't get them anywhere so I'm going to have to wait until the new stock comes in to get these! My flat mate has also bought some Creepers recently and he made me so jealous so these are a must!

So even though I have no money at the moment at least I have something to save up for and I can't wait to purchase all of these, I'll post some pictures when I eventually do.

Back to University.

I went back to university yesterday in Galashiels and decided to have a complete re-do of my room/wardrobe. Being back in Galashiels is so weird after being home in Newcastle for nearly a month but at the same time it's so nice being back with the flat and getting back in to work. 

This semester I have Textiles Design Weave, Fashion Design and Garment making for textiles, Medium & Materials and CAD so it's going to be such a busy semester considering I'm in every day and my timetable seems so confusing right now. Along with this I'm hopefully getting some work experience with a Newcastle based couture costume designer! Busy semester ahead but I can't wait!

Cream, Black & Converse

It was my birthday on New Years Eve (I was 20 eek) so it was inevitable that a birthday night out with my girls from school had to happen before I went back to Galashiels for university. I live in Newcastle and the nightlife here can go from dressy to casual depending where you go so I try and go in between.

Wearing just black leggings with leather up the side and a cream lace top which was see through so I wore a black band bra underneath. I was going to wear my Christmas shoes but last minute we decided to go somewhere more 'casual' so converse it was.

I had an absolutely amazing night with everyone, it was so good catching up and I also saw some old friends. It was also great being comfortable for once on a night out and not having sore feet in the morning! Converse is definitely a way forward.

Dip Dyed Shorts.

I bought some shorts from Nasty Gal and they just didn't look right on me, so I went a bit crazy and got creative and cut them shorter at the front so they show the pockets and then I dip dyed them in bleach so it created a lighter shade of denim at the bottom. The dip dye using bleach worked really well with the fraying at the front and on the pockets at the back. Actually so happy with how they turned out!
