I finish university on Friday and I can't wait, the weather is absolutely beautiful at the moment so it will be so nice to actually be able to enjoy the sun and not be stuck in working all the time. Because of my constant work load I haven't really done anything interesting but here are some images that I have found interesting and inspiring!  I also really would love pink hair, I'm considering dip dying my hair either pink or lilac in the summer! C. x

After a week of being ill I decided to go out last night considering I leave university in 2 weeks so I felt like relaxing and making the most of my time in Galashiels. These are just really quick snaps of my outfit that I wore last night. The top I wore is actually a dress that I've had for years and have just started to wear again teaming it up with levi's and platforms. 

Yet again sorry for my lack of posts, everything is going so quick at the moment but as soon as I finish this term I'll get back to posting more often and maybe doing more outfit/purchase posts. I'll also try and keep you informed on any projects I do, I'm also going to start making knitted jumpers in summer because I'll have so much free time! Enjoy :)

Weaving Away

My week has been a busy one, for my weave project I had to create six technical and creative samples. These are my six creative samples with I focused around the title 'Underwater', I gathered inspiration from images and fashion research. I am actually really happy with how these turned out considering this is my first time weaving on a Dobby Loom. All these pictures were taken and edited on Instagram on my iphone. Some of the pictures aren't very clear but the samples are only 7inches long and around 10ish inches wide so you can only see the detail close up, I've also added fancy yarns, thick yarns and open weft/warp throughout these samples. I'd love to know what you's all think!

Peppermint & Knit

 After yet another busy week at university I went out with the flat last night so I am hanging right now and have overdosed on pizza but it's nice to actually relax. I've also had a stress at home, I'm having to move house so I've been back and forth to Newcastle this week trying to help my mum find a new house. Anyway, this is the outfit I wore last night. Everything I am wearing is from Topshop, I really try not to do this but this outfit just worked and the shorts and jumper were new so I wanted to wear them. I also teamed this up with a vintage brown bag and platform shoes. I've also had my hair dyed, it's actually a lot blonder then this picture shows but I'm still going to get it a little blonder for summer. Enjoy :)
